Myself and a friend got to the mass late but caught up with them on brady and everything was super cool untill we hit the third ward and a squad car got behind us and followed us and eventually told us that if we went into the left side of the road we would be ticketed. We all did as we were told and decided to make a left turn, signaling and everything. Durring that half the crowd got split off by a red light a few of us were about to proceed when it turned green when two squad cars jetted across the intersection and swerved infront of me, a cop came out and grabbed my bike and my arm and told me to get on the fucking side walk. I turn around and a man is being shoved off his bike by two officers tumbling over his bike and the baby cariage attached WITH THE BABY INSIDE. About 3 more officers jump on the man who is fighting because his fucking baby was just shoved over, people were screaming at the cops and were pushed away. We were all made to sit on the sidewalk and give up our ID's. a lady was screaming at the cops about it and was arrested. Later across the street a kid was yelling at the police and was promptly attacked by 3 officers and forced to the ground. A girl got the baby from the carraige and held it and we all sat on the sidewalk for about 20-35 minutes and were issued two tickets: one for "disobeying and officer" and the other for "obstructing traffic" with a bike which add up to about $130 and got me three points off my lisence. Ive honestly never seen such blatent police brutality in my life, it was crazy and totally unprovoked my respect for the milwaukee police department has gone from zero to like negitive ten thousand. Im definitly going to court and pleading not guilty and hope everyone else will too. I honest to god want to have a critical mass to the courthouse.

i think the critical mass to the courthouse idea sounds like a really good idea. We should definitely organize that.
