Senator Lieberman Blames Hackers For Bandwidth Troubles

marco, 08.08.2006 22:22

Senator Lieberman is losing the Democratic primary in Connecticut
to high voter turnout, and many are claiming it's because he kissed
George W. Bush publickly. Others say he's becoming less popular
because he's a warhawk. He began claiming from early this morning that
it's all the hackers' fault. Yes, he claimed they hacked his site.
Except it turns out his site went down because the bandwidth ran out.

I guess the "internets" aren't letting Senator Lieberman
through enough of their "tubes" or something.

He's losing the primary to Ned Lamont, an anti-war
multimillionaire from western Connecticut.

That's my earliest report so far.

80% of precincts have sent in results and it looks like 52ish, 48ish,
Lamont.

Early on it was 60-40 so I'd say by Bush's standards, that's
a mandate and a landslide, right?

But I digress.

Cheers.
