TAKE ACTION:::MAKE A PRESENCE
MONDAY MARCH 31 2008 at 9am
in front of the OSHKOSH TRUCK MAIN OFFICE

In opposition to unmanned robotic weaponry and uninspiring demonstrations, COME DRESSED AS A ROBOT OR CIVILIAN: We will be playing tag and other games.

::FOR OSHKOSH TRUCK, WAR IS GOOD BUSINESS:: "Since the start of the war, CEOs at defense contractors such General Dynamics, Halliburton and Oshkosh Truck have made, on average, more in four days than what a top general makes in a whole year...Robert Bohn, chief of Oshkosh Truck, which sells military vehicles, has seen his pay go up nearly eightfold. Bohn had his best year in 2005, when he made more than $18 million...Oshkosh Truck got $4.7 billion in Defense Department contract revenue during 2002-2006, or 38% of its revenue for that time." (MSN MONEY: War means a windfall for CEOs)

::WAR IS FILTHY:: Oshkosh Truck plants have held two positions amongst the top ten polluters in Oshkosh. (2002 National Emissions Inventory data, www. planethazard. com)

::WAR IS NIGHTMARISH:: Oshkosh truck is attempting to develop an unmanned robotic vehicle for use by the US military. Currently the US uses Predator Drones, MQ9 Reapers and others abroad. According to their recent report Defense has planned for one third of their ground combat vehicles to be unmanned by 2015.
